It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to be a candidate for the State Assembly in the 16th legislative district. I got to spend the last 11 months criss-crossing our district, from High Bridge to South Brunswick, speaking with residents of all poltical affiliations and backgrounds. Along the way, I made true friendships with many people whom I otherwise would never have met.

I ran a campaign on the issues and on a record of working together, and pledging to do just that in Trenton to cut through the divide and get things done for the people of this district. Unfortunately, things did not go as I had hoped. But know this, my work has only just begun to make our state a better place to live, work, and raise a family. I do not intend to sit on the sidelines.

I will continue to serve the incredible people of the Town of Clinton who have elected me twice as Councilman, and made me the top vote getter in town in the legislative race this year. How the people whom know you best support you is the true testament of one’s character, and for their support, I am forever grateful.

Thank you to those who voted for me, who supported me financially, who volunteered on the campaign, and who were a part of the campaign team. I will never forget what you did for me, and cherish the friendships we made together. Mike and Grace, thank you for being on this journey with me - it wasn’t an easy one, but we worked hard and gave it our collective all.

Onward and upward! -Ross
